Burned-Out Heating Element

Electric dryers use a coiled heating element to generate heat. Over time, it can break or burn through — meaning the drum spins but clothes come out damp. This is the most common dryer repair we do. Replacement takes about 45 minutes and restores full drying performance.

Failed Thermal Fuse

The thermal fuse is a safety device that cuts power if the dryer overheats. Once blown, the dryer will not heat at all (or will not start, depending on the model). A blown thermal fuse often points to a clogged vent — we replace the fuse and check your vent system to prevent it from happening again.

Worn Drum Rollers or Belt

The drum belt wraps around the drum and motor pulley to spin the drum. When it frays or snaps, the drum will not turn. Drum rollers support the drum as it spins — when they wear flat, you hear a loud thumping or squealing noise. We replace both the belt and rollers together to prevent a return visit.
